Stokke Xplory
The Stokke Xplory prides itself on its uniqueness as a stroller; the seat for your baby can be elevated to such a height that interaction with your baby is easier than ever before. This height advantage also gives your child the chance to see more of the interesting world as he or she adapts to their surroundings. Adjusting the seat is very simple, as the seat slides easily up and down the main pole of the chassis (frame); the handle on your Xplory can also be adjusted to fit your height perfectly.
The seat on the Stokke Xplory has multiple recline positions so your baby is comfortable whatever mood they might be in; facing the parent the seat can be set to an active, rest or sleep position, and when it’s outward-facing the seat can be positioned at rest or active. The adjustable footrest is easy to change and means your child will be comfortable and safe at every stage of growth. Stokke recommend a maximum weight of 15kg for the seat, and 9kg for the (optional) carry cot.
Other features designed specifically for your baby’s comfort and your ease include a soft padded seat for a comfy ride and a handy shopping bag which is not only useful for shopping trips, but it also balances the weight of the Stokke Xplory towards the ground and stabilises it. Front swivel wheels and the two-wheel function make this stroller easy to control and use on uneven surfaces like sand or gravel. The quick release back wheels make the Xplory very compact when folded and no crossbar between the wheels means you are able to walk comfortably without the stroller in your way.
Stokke have gone to extra lengths to make this a great stroller; the hood of the Stokke Xplory is water repellent, and there are options for an extra visor against wind and bright light as well as, on hot days, the option to open up 30% of the hood for cooling ventilation so your baby doesn’t get too warm. The Xplory fits even the smallest of babies with an extra cushion to reduce the seat depth, offering support for a very tiny child.
