Bugaboo Buffalo
The impressive Bugaboo Buffalo is the next in the Bugaboo series of pushchairs and it promises to perform on all levels. Only launching in selected stores and online in the UK in September 2013, the Buffalo uses the very latest in pushchair technology. The truly great thing about the Bugaboo Buffalo is that it can handle any terrain – it works just as well in cross country settings as it does in cobbled towns or busy cities, due to its four large, tough wheels.
The seat on the Buffalo is slightly higher than your standard pushchair, giving you and your baby a chance for interaction as well as letting your child see the interesting world around him/her more clearly. This Bugaboo pushchair is suitable for newborn children as a carrycot style pushchair, and then easily transforms into a seat for when your child grows into a toddler –the seat can take up to 23kg in weight (about six/seven years old). However the Buffalo is also strong enough to take another 16kg in luggage! This can be stored in the spacious under seat basket or on the bag hooks on the handlebar.
Another innovative and highly useful feature of the Bugaboo Buffalo is its ability to go out in snow and sand – you simply have to put it into the two wheel position (see picture below). The seat on the Buffalo has several reclining positions and it has a very compact fold that makes storage easy. Bugaboo seem to have included everything you could need in this pushchair – there is also an extendable sun canopy to protect your baby, a height adjustable and rotating handle so that it’s easy to scoop up your child and, finally, it is also compatible with various car seats.
