The Maxi-Cosi Elea is a great buggy that is suitable your child from birth right up to 15 kg, which is usually not reached until about three years of age. It is very soft and comfortable inside, making it an inviting haven for your little one. The seating area can be positioned to be either forward or reward facing which makes it ideal in the early months when your child prefers to have you in its line of sight, right up to when your child is older and wants to view the world around them as they are pushed around. These two options make it great for promoting good eye contact in younger babies and a keen sense of interest in the outside world in toddlers.
Another nice feature of the Maxi-Cosi Elea is that it has two folding options. One is the quick option which is great for daily use and getting in and out of cars. The second option is a more compact folding method which is great for travelling on long trips or when storing this Maxi-Cosi pushchair out of sight.
The seat of the Elea buggy folds down completely flat, making it ideal for nap times on the move. The high levels of padding also make naps times in this buggy more inviting for toddlers. There are several optional add-ons available, which make this buggy even more versatile, and include the Maxi-Cosi infant car seat and the Elea carrycot. While these are not required to get the most out of this buggy, they do make nice additions which can enhance the usefulness of this stroller.
The presence of adjustable handle bars make it easy to push for both tall and shorter parents and the large rear wheels make the Maxi-Cosi Elea pushchair great at negotiating high curbs and other obstacles you may find in your path.
